The Verdict | Top NBA GPP Plays, 3.12.19

Welcome, to the Judge’s Verdict. We have a diabolical seven-game NBA slate tonight with some key injury news lingering, so let’s get down to business. Here are some of my top tournament plays for tonight’s slate.Note: The numbers in parenthesis refer to the salaries of that particular player. The first number is the FanDuel (“FD”) salary, while the second number is the DraftKings (“DK”) salary.  Also, note that we’ve reached the part of the season where for tournaments you might see some names you’re not used to or might make you cringe.  This final month of the NBA season is going to get wild on certain nights.  Ryan Arcidiacono (3.5, 3.3)Yesterday, we had Sato from Washington as our PG – and that was a glorious piece of chalk. I am expecting the same thing tonight from an even cheaper “Anaconda” (on the podcast I never could pronounce Archie’s last name, so we nicknamed him Anaconda.) Lavine is out tonight for the Bulls, so I would expect Archie to get the start and see close to 30 minutes. Anaconda is not an elite fantasy point per minute player (0.72), but the matchup vs. the Lakers is fantasy gold at the PG spot ever since Lonzo got hurt. Plus, at the minimum price, we don’t need much for this play to work out. I am expecting Anaconda to get us 26-30 fantasy points tonight, which is more than enough at his price.Note: I will be rostering Dunn, Archie, Seldon, Otto, and Markkanen tonight in a variety of lineups. The safest are Markkanen and Otto – I think safe for all formats. The other guys are all worthy of tournament fliers. However, for the sake of this article and our sanity, we’ll limit the Bulls in this article to two.
