NBA DraftKings GPP Breakdown 12/6

This three-game NBA slate is absolutely hideous. I have been trying to convince myself otherwise all day but I just can’t do it. However, there is still money to be made so let’s check out four GPP plays that I like on DraftKings.

Core 4

Nik Stauskas (DK $3,100)

With C.J. McCollum ruled out, Stauskas should at least see a bit of an uptick in minutes. I really want to see Evan Turner start just because Turner takes up so much usage on the second unit and I would like for some of that usage to go to Sauce. I rarely play for blowouts, but I am absolutely playing for that tonight and building accordingly. Stauskas is going to get all the blowout run, and he could certainly get hot from three and annihilate this price tag.

Troy Daniels (DK $3,400)

I really liked Melton the other night, but they have priced him up $1,200 for this NBA slate, and I certainly get it because, like I stated the other day, if he gets run, he can be a slate breaker at that price. Well, insert the same sentiment for Daniels tonight. Daniels, much like Stauskas, can catch fire from three and will absolutely get the blowout run. He played 21 minutes the other night and was able to give us 24 DK points at 3K. We will certainly take that but the best part about that line was that he took 9 threes. If he is going to shoot that much he is absolutely a guy that can make seven or eight three’s in a game and has done it before. He made 7-10 three’s in a game just last year for the Suns against Toronto and back in 2016-2017 with the Grizz, he scored 22 points in the fourth quarter alone and actually holds the franchise record for points in a quarter. To cap this all off, we all know Daniels doesn’t play much so this is even more impressive, last January he set the Suns franchise record when he made a three after coming off the bench in his 27th straight game. Bottom line, the dude can flat out shoot the rock and can fill it up in a hurry.

Noah Vonleh (DK $5,100)

Not sure how low owned he will be, but it’s not like he is playing as he had been a couple weeks ago. Last time they played Boston in Boston, he went for 16, 10, three and three steals. He was born and raised in the Boston area and always does well when coming back to the Garden. Although the production hasn’t been there, the minutes have been with 35 and 31 in his last two. Basically, if he stays out of foul trouble, he should see north of 30 tonight and if that is the case, he is going to smash. He is an excellent rebounder and the C’s struggle to rebound the ball. Sign me up!

Meyers Leonard (DK $3,400)

Like I mentioned with the other two guys from this game, I am fully assuming it blows out. If, in fact, that does happen and Leonard gets the minutes, he is absolutely a 10x candidate here. He is a 1.1 DK point per minute player this season with upside for much more. In just 24 minutes against the Clippers a couple of weeks ago, he scored 33.5 DK points on nine points, 16 rebound and three assists. Against New York earlier in November, he played 17 minutes and went for 25.25 DK points with 15 points three rebounds and two assists. Bottom line, if he gets 20 + minutes there is a really good chance he can 10x. He is a big that shoots three’s but also really rebounds at a high rate.
