NBA DK GPP Breakdown 3/7

Two games on tonight’s NBA slate and I certainly wouldn’t blame you if you choose to take the night off. On a positive note, we have between six and nine games for the next seventeen straight nights! Those are the ideal amount of games for me so at least good slates are ahead! Lets look at my four favorite GPP plays on DK tonight.

Moe Harkless ($4,200)

His price really hasn’t adjusted to his level of play as of late and we should just take advantage of that tonight. This is a really good spot for Harkless too, as he really excels in uptempo games. He has been contributing in multiple categories since the All-Star break and he seems to finally be healthy.

Jake Layman ($3,400)

With Evan Turner out, this should solidify Layman’s minutes and we have seen his upside when he gets the minutes. Again, much like Harkless, this is a great spot again OKC. Last time against OKC, Layman played 28 minutes and scores 32.5 DK points. The upside will be there tonight and he should be pretty low owned.

Nikola Mirotic ($4,800)

The upside is there and that’s what we want in tournaments. The shot volume has been there since joining MIL and he is getting a bunch of threes due to Giannis’ drives and kicks. Just four games ago he played 27 minutes against SAC and put up 42 DK points. Point being, upside is there and if he gets hot he can smash that price.

Wes Matthews ($4,300)

If there is a weakness in the MIL defense, it is wings that shoot threes. They smother ball handlers but because of that style of defense, the wings can tend to get left alone. Matthews has been shooting a bunch of them and playing a ton of minutes. Bogdanovic is obviously the guy you want if you want to play it safe tonight but Matthews has upside in this spot. Much like Miro, he can get hot from three.
