NBA Cash Breakdown 1/5

Seven-games on this Saturday night and there are a couple to get excited about. SAC/GS game stands-out but there should also be some intrigue in the CLE/NO game. Sure, NO could blow them out, but I just don’t predict blowouts and if the game stays close it should be a back and forth high scoring game. Let’s dig in.

Core 4

Kevin Durant (DK $9,400) (FD $10,000)

He is just too cheap on both sites. We obviously love the matchup vs the Kings, as it is one of the best in the league, I also like that the game is in SAC because that just means less chance of a blowout. Durant is averaging 64.4 DK points in his 2 games against SAC this season and Curry played in one of those games. In fact, he’s almost averaging a triple double (38.5 points-10 boards-7.5 assists). I can’t imagine tonight being any different. Steph playing is wellfor GS as a whole and in the game that they played in together against the Kings Curry also went off for 60 DK points so it is entirely possible we could see that again. But regardless, I will take the little discount for Durant as I think his floor is generally safer.

Al Farouq-Aminu (DK $5,000) (FD $5,900)

For the way he is currently producing this is just a bad pricing job. He somehow came down $200 on DK after putting up 40.25 DK points in his last game. He has hit cash value at this price in 7 straight games and has even gotten there in a 22 minute effort in a blowout. He is super safe right now and what has really solidified his floor has been his ability to rebound the ball. In those 7 straight games he does not have a game of less than 7 boards.

Kyle Anderson (DK $4,900) (FD $6,100)

Much like Aminu, DK has completely screwed up Anderson’s price. He literally triple doubled last night and his salary is down $300. Ignore the triple double and he has been playing massive minutes and getting to cash value on a consistent basis. Now he goes back to San Antonio, where his career started, so there may be a little revenge narrative as well. In the one game they have played earlier this year he put up 27.3 DK points which is totally fine for cash at this price. I don’t think I could pull the trigger on FD but on DK he is almost a must for me.

De’Aaron Fox (DK $7,300) (FD $8,500)

Again, a play I prefer on DK for tonight but there is no way a SAC player wasn’t making it into my core 4. I love that game and you should too. This game should be a priority for everyone. Sure, Fox hasn’t been that great in his last 2, but against POR he shot 6-19 and then against DEN…well it’s DEN, one of the best defensive teams in the league right now. However, in the 2 games against GS this year Fox is averaging 37 DK points despite shooting just 36% from the field and 14% from 3. 37 DK points is right at cash value and we know he has the ceiling to crush his price tag. Those numbers absolutely could normalize here and if that is the case I wouldn’t be shocked if he goes out there and goes for 50 DK points tonight.
