NBA Cash Breakdown 1/31

Six NBA games tonight and we just got the Dallas trade. Figuring out that mess is going to be really important tonight as they will now be without Wes Matthews, DeAndre Jordan and Dennis Smith Jr. I certainly like the LAC/LAL game and the PHI/GS game obviously has my eye as well. Let’s just get right into it.

DK Core 4

Jalen Brunson ($3,400)

Dwight Powell ($3,200)

Steph Curry ($8,900)

Giannis Antetokounmpo ($10,600)

JALEN BRUNSON and DWIGHT POWELL are the two biggest beneficiaries tonight. Dwight Powell is actually a really good point per minute producer and Jalen Brunson probably has to play 40 minutes tonight. I don’t think you can pass up either tonight. STEPH CURRY is finally cheap enough where I feel really comfortable playing him. This game should stay close and we should get the full minutes from Steph. GIANNIS is in a similar boat. I really like him when the game is going to stay close. I get that he is getting Kawhi’s defense, but Kawhi has actually been pretty bad at allowing drives to the rim this year, and Giannis is just a different kind of athlete. He has crushed in this spot this year. In the two games against TOR, he is averaging 64.1 DK points and the best part of it all for me is that he is averaging 38.2 minutes per game, which is up from his 33.2 on the season.

FD CORE 4

Jalen Brunson ($3,700)

Dwight Powell ($3,600)

Steph Curry ($9,200)

Maxi Kleber ($3,900)

BRUNSON, POWELL and STEPH are all just as good if not better plays on FD. I am fine with Giannis, but the price isn’t the best over there. I went with KLEBER as my fourth here simply because the Mavs only have a handful of guys that can even play tonight, so he will see plenty of run too. We have seen when he has gotten minutes he can produce. This FD core pretty much allows you to do whatever else you want with your lineup.
