Tonight’s 8-game slate on DRAFT features the worst group of forwards I’ve seen all year. There’s definitely an edge to be had in finding the best value at forward, there is also a lot of risk – mostly tied to any Pelicans news that might come down, today. New Orleans has a good reason to wait until the draft lottery is settled before trading Anthony Davis, so I expect the drama to come from Justin Randle or even Davis (very remote chance, but stranger things have happened in the NBA) returning to the lineup.
Nikola Jokic and Karl Anthony-Towns are a coin-flip in H2H’s so take a center last and concentrate on the guard and (shudder) the forward spot. That’s a solid enough edge to recommend exposure to small drafts on tonight’s slate, but I’m expecting a very bumpy ride with tonight’s forward crew in longer drafts.
