Max Strus – Depaul ($8400): You want to get some exposure here in the game with the highest total of the slate (157 total). Strus has been hot lately scoring over 30 FP in four straight and gets a juicy matchup here against the 22nd fastest team in the country in Georgetown, who really struggle to defend the backcourt. Strus plays much better on his home floor and we just saw him explode for 53 FP in his last game against an uptempo St. Johns team getting up 22 shots. I like him here down the stretch of the regular season in a similar paced game to continue to be aggressive. He has 40+ FP upside.

Payton Pritchard – Oregon ($7300): From a fantasy perspective, targeting PAC12 games has been extremely successful as the league, in general, has been a disaster this year and teams look to have packed it in, especially defensively. Washington State might be my favorite PAC12 team to target against as they rank 282th nationally in defensive efficiency and usually provide a tempo boost as they are the 54th fastest team in the country. Pritchard plays the whole game for Oregon at PG and should benefit the most from the matchup. He takes 10+ shots a game and sports a high assist rate that could get him to DD type numbers. What makes him most appealing here is his high steal rate which really raises his ceiling. He had six steals in his last game against Wazzu and I like him to go for 30+ FP in this one.

Mid Level

Jose Alvarado – Georgia Tech ($7000): Alvarado looks to be finally healthy after being banged up for a few games. He is easily GT’s best player and has been on a real heater over his last few games getting to over 30 FP in four of his last five games. He gets a nice tempo boost here against an NC State team that is the 30th fastest team in the country. I love his ability to fill the stat sheet in all categories, especially steals, and he’s been able to get up 10+ shots in nine straight games. Alvarado should be aggressive again in this one, he has 30+ FP upside.

Jalen Hudson – Florida ($4900): This dude has been one of the most disappointing players in the whole country after breaking out last year as one of the better pure scorers in the country. He saw himself buried on the Florida bench all year getting around 10 minutes per game for the struggling Gators. But all of a sudden over the past few games Hudson has magically left the dog house and has gotten some major minutes. He’s gotten over 26 minutes in each of his last four games getting up 13 shots in three of them. He doesn’t really fill up the stat sheet very much but has elite ability to score the rock. If he gets 30 minutes again in an uptempo game against LSU, he could get to 30 FP mainly from just scoring.

Lamont West/Jermaine Haley/Jordan Mccabe – West Va ($5300/$4500/$3800): All three of these guys will be chalk as DK continues to be slow at updating prices. They all will see around 35 minutes and heavily involved in the offense for a depleted West Va team. Everyone will be on the West Va guys today and the real decision will be not if but how many guys to stack.

Jaedon Ledee/Justin Ahrens – Ohio State ($3100/$3500): Another two fliers as pretty solid value plays with Kaleb Wesson suspended. Ohio State is scrambling right now and it looks like their rotation is very dependent on who is playing well on the given night which provides some risk. But both Ledee and Ahrens will start for the Buckeyes and have shown the ability to put up solid fantasy nights which make them elite value plays.
