Studs

Ryan Woolridge – North Texas ($8100): Woolridge just came back from a thigh injury last game and saw 24 minutes in a loss. He has three more days to recover so he should be a full go against a Marshall defense that bleeds FPs. Woolridge is the type of player that could put up TD type numbers on any given night and at the pace, this game will be played at he should see those types of numbers. If he is a full go (important to monitor), he has 40+ FP upside. The good news is I don’t think a lot of people will be on him.

Tres Tinkle – Oregon State ($9900): If you can find a way to fit Tinkle in today, he is in a prime spot to smash. He gets a tempo boost here at home against an Arizona State team that can’t guard wing scorers and also turns the ball over a ton. His line in their last matchup was 21/7/6 with 2 steals and he shot pretty poorly. I like his upside today to get to 50 FP with his ability to fill the stat sheet in every category.

Mid Level

Umoja Gibson – North Texas ($5800): Going to want to stack North Texas here against the seventh-fastest team in the country and whose defense is ranked 264th nationally. North Texas has had a string of injuries recently and the freshman has been the one to step up seeing his minutes get up to the 35+ mark. He put up a nice 32 FP performance in his last game against Marshall connecting on 5-10 from three. I love the game flow here for the NT players and I think they should be getting a ton of wide open threes again in this one. He has 30+ FP upside.

Roosevelt Smart – North Texas ($5100): Smart is my favorite play of the day at this cheap price point. He’s had a pretty down year coming off of an injury that kept him out the beginning of the season, but overall he arguably North Texas’s best player. Last year, he had a higher usage rate and O-Rating than Woolridge. He plays the whole game and also has rebounding upside to go along with his scoring. We saw him go for a monster 40 burger against Marshall last time, Smart has the kind of upside that can break the slate at his price.

Value

Isaiah Livers – Michigan ($4600): With Matthews out with an injury, Livers has slid right into the starting lineup. He’s always been a pretty productive player off the bench but he now gets 30+ minutes which makes him an elite value play. He has the ability to fill the stat sheet in every category and we just saw him explode for 33 FP in his last game. Livers is arguably a better offensive player than Matthews is so getting him in your roster at a 2k discount is nice.

Moses Wright – Georgia Tech ($4400): The sophomore big man has been playing well lately and being rewarded with close to 30 minutes per game. He has seen his usage rate get up around the 25% mark in his last three games and reach over 20 FP in each. At this price you love to see someone who can consistently get shots up and has rebounding upside as Wright does. In a matchup against a weak BC interior defense, I love Wright’s ability in this one to shine and reach 20+ FP again.
