Zylan Cheatham – Arizona State ($8500): The San Diego State transfer has been having an impressive year for the Sun Devils. He’s grabbed 20+ rebounds in two of his last three games and we’ve even seen him hit a triple-double earlier in the year. I always love targeting against a ‘defense is optional’ Wazzu team who plays at the 69th fastest tempo in the country and gives up a ton of points. With Cherry set to miss some time with a concussion and the Sun Devils rolling with a seven-man rotation, I can see Cheatham easily going off for 40+ FP points with TD type numbers.
Jarron Cumberland – Cincinnati ($8200): The Bearcats should get a nice tempo boost here facing off against the 6th fastest team in the country in Memphis. Cincinnati normally plays at a super slow pace but should see a few more possessions due to Memphis’s style of play. Even at their slow pace, Cincinnati’s offense is pretty efficient and it all goes through Cumberland. He has an absurd 31% usage rate for this Bearcat team and has taken 17+ shots in four of his last five games. He will be heavily involved in this one and has the potential to produce in all other categories including blocks and steals.
Remy Martin – Arizona State ($6700): Sticking with this Arizona State team with a short rotation and projected to score 87 points, Martin will be running the show for the Sun Devils. He’s really been playing well lately and has seen 35+ minutes in his last four games racking up at least 7 assists in each. In this high paced matchup with Washington State at home, I can easily see him putting up DD type numbers with assists while grabbing a few steals. He has 30+ FP upside.
Justin Coleman – Arizona ($5100): With Brandon Williams set to miss another game, Coleman slides into the PG role for the Wildcats. This isn’t the greatest matchup for Arizona against a very solid Washington zone, but at this price, Coleman should still be able to smash value. In their last game against Arizona State, Coleman saw 44 minutes (including OT), took 14 shots and ended with a 19/9 stat line with the highest usage rate on the team. Sign me for that kind of usage again at his low price point.
Romello White – Arizona State ($5000) – Obviously, I want to stack this Arizona State game and you shouldn’t feel bad about rostering three guys on the same team. White’s price is at an attractive spot here where he should definitely see 25+ minutes and with a ton of possessions, I think he has a good chance at reaching a DD. He’s put up 30+ FP performances in the past and I think he can get there again against an awful Wazzu defense, especially with Cherry out of the lineup.
Nahziah Carter – Washington ($4400) or Mayan Kiir – USF ():00) : These plays all depend on injuries as both Noah Dickerson for Washington and Alexis Yetna for South Florida will be GTDs. if either of them is out these guys will see a big uptick in minutes and you can roll them out as value plays.
