Studs

Markus Howard – Marquette ($9800) – Most expensive play on the slate, but you have to try to find a way to fit him in. This game has the highest total of the night and Markus does it all for this Marquette team. We just saw Kamar Baldwin light this Creighton team up on Saturday and Markus has 50 fp upside attempting to pull out the victory on the road.

Jared Harper – Auburn ($8200) – In the second fastest game of the slate, an overachieving Ole Miss team takes on Auburn at home. I love the spot here for Auburn and with Ole Miss’ shaky defense, Harper should dice them up. He’s Auburn’s most important player and leads them in minutes. He’s hit 10 assists in his last 2 games, has 35+ fp upside.

Mid Level

Martin Krampelj – Creighton ($5500) – Ever since the Epperson injury, Krampelj has been playing around 30 min a game and absolutely smashing. Surprisingly his salary has not been adjusted too much yet, so we’ll continue to play him. Home game, in a plus fast pace matchup, he should see a ton of rebounding opportunities. Has scored 29+ fp in 4 of his last 5 games.

Kamau Stokes – Kansas State ($5600) – Yes this team has been offensively challenged ever since Dean Wade went down and yes he is coming off of a sore foot. But the good news is Bruce Weber said that Stokes should see his normal minutes share in the West Va game, West VA should give them a tempo boost, and K State is running off a slim rotation. He should be locked in for 35 min and a pretty safe 20 fp floor. K State has to break out of this slump at some point and a struggling West Va team at home seems like a good spot to do it.

Value

Frank Howard – Syracuse ($4700) – Frank has struggled a little since coming back from injury this year and I by no means like him as a basketball player (*cough cough* turnover machine). But Frank has shown in the past that he can be a stud fantasy player, He’s put up some massive 40 fp performances last year. They’re rotation is slightly deeper this year so he sees more like 30 min a game rather than the 40 he did last year. But he’s still their starting PG and I think this matchup at home against Clemson is where he can breakout fantasy wise.

Sacar Anim – Marquette ($4400) – Anim had the best game of his season on Sunday where he dropped 35 fp and played 37 min. He took 14 shots, so it seems like his confidence is growing, and Wojo is allowing him some more freedom on offense. He has another good opportunity against Creighton in a high tempo game, I expect him to play another 30+ min and take advantage of his expanded role. Also want to add that he scored 26 against Creighton last year on the road.
